Pretty sure this would be thrown out of Mt. View a lot faster than my 24" pontoon was!

Big, expensive . . . but so butt ugly I'm at a loss for words! :rolleye1:

Yikes. Maybe another color would help-no-I don't think so.

You know this Plectrum-242 is a 242' ship supposedly capable to go 75-knots on its water foils except it does not exist. It is a design model that only exists on a make believe video......

That's definitely not going to solve my low draft problem. Given enough speed though I could probably park it in my living room.

Recession is coming. I bet you can get a bargain if you wait a little. Perhaps a mooring instead of dock?

brk-lnt 02-20-2023 01:52 PM

I saw that mentioned in one of the boating industry publications. I wonder if it will ever actually get built. A lot of the mega-yacht design studios release concepts like this, but few of them ever actually become reality.

IMO a folding foil design is more practical.

Doubt it ever gets built.

Yeah lots of beautiful concept cars out there also…still waiting for Cadillacs concept “Ciel” to come to fruition…what a beautiful looking car that is!

Why did they bounce a 24-foot pontoon?!

Put it on your mooring and use the launch or the helicopter to the island?

My slip is for up to a 24 foot boat...the protrusion of the outboard motor makes the pontoon 25 feet long.

We could just "trim" the front deck with a chain saw. Or it may just snap off on its own one of these days. We have certainly done crazier on the island!

Not a big deal... when I'm commuting I never go there.

No problem

Properly sized lift should solve everything.

Dan,

Just get a mooring, and use one of your other boats as a tender.... I supposed you might miss your view with that Yacht blocking it, but hey, you can always just take the tender and go relax on deck....

Hey, Dan, with a boat like that, you can park it anywhere it wants to park.

:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

With the helicopter pad, I'd just fly over to it instead of bothering with a tender.

You trail them from the mini-sub.

LIforrelaxin 02-28-2023 01:55 PM

So I did some looking around at this builders website..... Here is the Model I think I will look into once I win PowerBall.....while docking could be an issue, I figure I will anchor it, and have a loose line to my dock so it is all official, and can be left there......
