Storm vs. Mark Island

Does anyone know how Mark Is. fared during the windstorm? Some friends have a house on Mark Is. facing Bear Is. They are a bit concerned.

Anyone with a boat still in?

Pine Island Guy took a little walking tour of that side of Mark...downed trees, but no property damage from the pictures I saw. That's my neck of the woods...who's your friend...or were you checking for me? :-) I might have pictures.

Hi Steve...

My friends house is 16 Mark Island... Bud Manning is the friend I was asking for. He is down in FL, and a bit concerned.

Thanks!

That would be the Turner's old house with the outdoor kitchen I think?? If so, it's probably fine... pretty protected in that cove and with the hill behind. No damage to the northern part of the island. Maybe the money your friend saves on damage repairs can be used for another fireworks extravaganza this summer! :-)
