This boat building session is for youths ages 12 and up or families. Youths can work by themselves or team up with family members. Youths will be taught how to safely use hand tools and a limited number of power tools. You can choose from the following kinds of boats:

• 2-person canoe
• 1-person kayak
• Bevin’s skiff

The New Hampshire Proctored Exam is available to students who have finished the online portion of the boating education course and have a Boat New Hampshire Course Completion Slip. Students must pass the proctored exam to complete the online course and receive a boating education certificate. Upon successful completion of the exam, students will leave with a boating certificate which is valid for 45 days. The permanent certificate card will be automatically mailed to the student’s address entered at the time of registration.
