Posted 04-22-2017 at 01:13 PM by Roy Sanborn

Listening to the Couple Next Door

If you have been following my retelling of the story of Albert and Ethel from the 1958 CBS radio broadcasts of the Couple Next Door in the Lakes Region Real Estate Report, you will remember that they sold their home on their own for what they thought was a lot of money ($27,500.) A Golden Opportunity – The Lakes Region Real Estate Fake News Issue #1

Posted 01-28-2017 at 10:28 AM by Roy Sanborn

Posted 05-08-2016 at 06:13 PM by Roy Sanborn

The Disappearing Clothesline

I was skimming through this month’s issue of the Northern New England Journey magazine put out by AAA and on the last page there was a short article about clotheslines called “For the Love of Laundry.” Basically, the writer was expounding on how she was happy to get back to hanging her laundry out on the line after a long winter and how doing so was a relaxing and enjoyable chore for her. It reminds her of her childhood days and trips to a cottage...

Last week we explored what is hot in the real estate world as far as desirable home features. Now, for WNHW.
