Welcome to an exciting new way to take a virtual visit to Lake Winnipesaukee. Remote Reality™ technology allows you to view unique 360º panoramic images of the Lake. You will be able to look around a scene as if you were actually standing there and zoom in for a closer look.

There are now 40 panoramas available.

Before you proceed there are a few things you need to know:

  • To view the panoramas you should use a recent version of Netscape or Internet Explorer that has JAVA enabled. This is the default setting so you should not have to do anything as long as you did not turn JAVA off.
  • If you are behind a firewall and it does not allow the downloading of JAVA applets you will not be able to view the panoramas.
  • The image files are large and may take a few moments to load, especially with slower modem connections. However, it should be worth the wait.
  • The images found here and elsewhere on this site may appear grainy 
    when viewed if your video display is set for 256 colors. If you change your display to 64,000 colors or higher you will be amazed at the difference.
