We used both Lakes Region Pet Resort and Four Paws Inn for our dog; both were good but we had just a slight preference for the Lakes Region Pet Resort. I used to tell people that I had stayed in hotels that were not quite as nice. But we were comfortable with both places (and our children have remarked several times over the years that their mother put more time into checking out kennels than checking their schools, which may, in fact, be correct...)

Something to keep in the back of your mind -- the Pet Resort tended to get booked up early during holiday periods. Not sure if they still do this, but if you used Four Paws once, they would manage to find a spot for your dog in the future. No complaints about either kennel; nice people at both.

Thank you! Yes, the Pet Resort was already booked so we are going with Four Paws. We’ve already taken our furry friend for a day stay to make sure she’ll fit in OK. Appreciate all the feedback!
